Diagnosis: 

Consistent with the physical exam findings and the lack of abnormalities on the radiographs we think the recurrent lameness is due to damage of the lateral femoropatellar ligament and resulting medial patellar luxation.  If surgery is elected, all ligaments of the stifle joint will be examined to confirm our diagnosis.
