Plan of Action: 1) Radiographs- thoracic ( to rule out lung trauma or pneumothorax) Abdominal (rule out bladder rupture , splenic trauma, etc.) Hind limb radiographs to localize and determine severity of fractures and joint luxations. 2) Urinalysis to determine urin e output and function. CBC to determine RBC and WBC parameters, check for infection, inflammatory reactions, etc. 3) Ultrasound if radiographs are not definitive in localizing trauma. 4) Contrast media in bladder if suspect bladder rupture and need to localize tear. 5) Perform orthopedic exam under anesthesized and awake patient.
