Plan of Action 1. Draw preliminary bloodwork looking for any indications of dietary imbalance and to look for inflammation in case there was trauma 2. Set appointment for radiographs under sedation. At this time, we would like to repeat the orthopedic exam, including palpation of all the rear limb joints, looking for cranial drawer in the stifles, and repeating the ortalani procedure. Make sure we do this on the Right side since we were unable to due to pain in the awake patient. Radiographs at mininum should consist of a lateral and ventrodorsal of the pelvic region. The VD view should be done with the legs pulled out and turned in to enhance the view of the pelvic joint area. The lateral view should be right and left lateral usually with the down leg pulled forward and the upleg pulled back.May want to also do radiographs of the stifles in lateral and VD ( can be on same view as pelvis in some animals). No further daignostics until radiographs completed.
