Plan of Action Radiographs: Pelvis, left and right hind legs. -Confirm fracture to tibia -isolate problem in left hind leg; possible incomplete fracture to femur, possible fracture to pelvis which could be involving hip joint -Fracture would be indicated by a disruption of the periostium and disruption of bone cortex either completely or partially. This will indicate stablization procedures needed for adequate healing to occur. Chest: abnormalities in the pericardium and myocardium. Lack of integrity of the diaphram. Abdominal: any signs of effusion, ascites Contrast radiograph of urinary system to check integrity of bladder, ureter, etc. CBC/Profile Including: Creatine Kinase, Alanine Phosphatase levels- determine the extent of muscle damage Changes in acid/base balances, changes in ions/mineral values, Urinalysis with palpation for the bladder-monitor USG, acidity, and nitrogen values
