Prognosis:
Prognosis is good to excellent provided there are no complications and discharge instructions are followed.  Utilizing only soft tissue repair would result in a poor prognosis because the lameness is greater than a grade 1.  Bone remodeling is required in association with soft tissue repair is required for lamenesses than are greater than grade 1.
