Diagnosis Right Hind Limb: Right femur has a closed oblique comminuted reducible wedge fracture in the mid-diaphyseal region. Left Hind Leg: Left tibia has a non-reducible wedge fracture in the mid-diaphyseal region. Hematocrit was abnormally low due to the hemorrage associated with the fractures and other soft tissue injuries. It was evident due to the fluid therapy which restored the extravascular volume with fluid, but didn't replace the red blood cells. Alkaline phosphatase was elevated due to induction from the bone remodeling associated with the body's attempt to repair the fractures. A hyponatremia and hypochloridemia was evident due to hemodilution from the lactated ringers fluid therapy.
