Chemistry panel to evaluate muscle damage as well as monitor organ function.

CBC to evaluate inflammation/stress.

Complete orthopedic exam under sedation followed by radiographs of both hind limbs and the pelvis.

Ultrasound soft tissue for integrity of tendons and ligaments.
