There are two aspects to investigating blogging: becoming a blogger and reading about blogging.

Activity

   1. Read a selection of the articles listed below, or search on the web for recent commentaries about blogging. Look for material that focuses on blogging as a learning activity in education or corporate knowledge management.

   2. Read the postings of bloggers and get a feel for the range of uses to which they are put.

   3. For a period of about three weeks, maintain a blog by posting several times a week, following the instructions here. Read a selection of blogs by your fellow students and comment in your blog on ideas raised in theirs. Be alert to possible uses of this medium in your organization or context in which you work.
